At first glance, that statement might appear to be contradictory.

Under the leadership of Paul Stein, The Solo Collective unites acclaimed solo artists to form an innovative company devoted exclusively to one-person performance.

These five writer/performers are dedicated to supporting one another and delivering one-of-a-kind theater experiences. In residence at VS. Theatre in Los Angeles, The Solo Collective realizes one-person productions created by its’ members with assistance from its’ members.

It’s about commitment … commitment to each other, to the art of solo performance, and – most especially – to the audience. It’s about restoring the excitement, the energy and the danger of one individual alone, onstage conveying remarkable stories.
